Painting God’s Love!

Yesterday we went and painted a school in Aurora. I thought it was cool the way we were there all day working and the ticos (Costa Ricans) would come in on their day out of school to help us. They were all so happy to be help. Everyone was having fun and just happy to serve. The kids there have their classes in broom closets.

On our breaks we went on prayer walks in groups. The one i ended up going to was to Jose Antonio’s house. Before we went to his house we went to the store to pick up some diapers and some ice cream for him and his siblings. We gave him his first ice cream. He didn’t even know what to do with it.

I was really touched yesterday to just serve and to see the ticos faces who watched us paint. It was really cool and i will always remember it. We only have a couple more days left to go. We are just going to keep doing everything God wants us to do here. Please keep the team in your prayers!

  1. It is amazing, the little things we take for granted, like ice cream can be such a blessing to another. I’m excited to hear how God is working through all of you and am looking forward to hear the change that is taking place in your heart and your teammates. Keep touching, loving, & praying as Holy Spirit works through you. You are in our prayers.

    I love you, Mom

Matt 25:35-40 “For I was hungry and you gave Me food;I was thirsty and you gave Me drink;I was a stranger and you took me in;…inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to Me.”

  2. Ohhh I remember this little munchkin!! I’m so happy that you guys spent some quality time with them. Our trip was so short that by the time we met them all and fell in love, we had to leave! How cute about the ice cream. It is amazing to know that it is truly a treat and luxury for them. How amazing… good job girl and I’m always praying for you guys. Glad you made it home safe… and transformed!
