Crazy, Sick, Worship

God is SO good! Costa Rica has been an awesome experience, and it’s not even over yet! Today we are going to help kids in a local school learn English. I think that we will get as much out of it than the children will.

But as for last night, there was nothing more empowering. We decided to just do worship, so I started to play some songs. It was going ok for the first 15 minutes, and then the Holy Spirit started to move.

Pastor Mike prayed an intense prayer, and there was no going back then. People were getting broken, crying, and shouting out to God (Dani jumped up from her seat and started bringing the fire). And the best part was, no one wanted to stop! Youth were praying for youth, and the leaders were standing in the back and watching in awe as the youth became desperate. You can’t recreate something like that. God can, though, and I pray that He continues to breakthrough to this group.

  1. Wow, you guys are so awesome!! I wish I would have known and experienced what you all experienced at your age. Something really moves you over there too, it seems. You gotta love worship! Hope you only continue to grow in your relationship with God and truly know what it is to understand his full glory and happiness in your life. Congrats on such a successful trip!

  2. I also just wanted to say that I am so proud of you guys and hope that I have the opportunity to hear many more stories about your trip. If you have a myspace, add my new faith-based teen magazine page: so we can keep in touch. If you ever want to share your experiences or contribute to the magazine, let me know!
Love and blessings to you all, Mary
