Costa Rica: Singles Team 2/26

wayne-resizedToday was another great day. During the morning hours the team split into two parts. One group assisted in moving a Pastor Jorge into a new home for him. They cleaned the house from top to bottom, it was really in need of it. It was quite a transformation, and the before and after were spectacular. The other team went to a group home for women who had been once living on the streets. They were able to minister and show the Love of Jesus and were well recieved. After lunch we all took local transportation, the bus, what a ride to Arora, and we painted the outside of a school building. We were not sure how much of it would get painted, two colors and light blue, with all the door openings and base a dark blue. It was in pretty sad shape when we arrived and now it looks great we painted three full sides and part of the back wall also. The team continues to be amazed on how the Lord is moving in all of our lives and all agree we will never be the same again. Computer time continues to be a little difficult so the amount of time we can blog is limited. –Wayne

  1. Hey Mom (Yanira Carter),
It’s James, your son in case you forgot. I’m having a great time with the Fields. Going to Overflow this weekend. Will see you Sunday at 1:00. Peace out Madre.

  2. It’s great to hear that you are having a heart-filled experience. The Ticos have a way of doing that with people. God Bless, Glenn Sliwinski (ako “Big Bear”)
