Greetings from Greece!

What an amazing trip thus far.

We began our trip at 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday and had amazing favor with our flights.  One was delayed, however, we had a long layover in New York City so the delay didn’t cause any issues.  Once we got on the plane and backed out from the terminal the President came in on Air Force One and immediately all aircraft came to a stop.  That put us number 20 in line for take off and we arrived in Greece 10 hours later at around 9:30 p.m. Greece time which was some where around 2:00 a.m. Jacksonville time so by the time we got to the Bible College we had been up a nice 24 hours.

Praise the Lord that all of our luggage and black boxes made it and nothing was lost.  The Lord showed me favor when we were going through customs.  Victor had the cart with 4 of the black boxes and the  customs guy snatched him for inspection while I pulled 2 suitcases and my black box right by the customs guy and got out without ever being noticed.  That was a blessing from God because Victor was able to talk his way into Greece with Gods favor and a lint roller.  Apparently they don’t have those in Greece and he was amazed with it and literally rolled lint off of Victors shirt.  We were in. (Or Victor anyway since he was my diversion.)

We were able to decompress for a while once we arrived here and welcomed a hot shower after 24 hours of travel time.  We all agreed it was the best shower any of us had ever had.

We met the first members of Celebration Church, Demetris and Sophia, and what a great couple they are.  They blessed us with a homemade Greek dinner and wonderful fellowship.  The night ended with us being up a total of 48 hours.  Can I just say…….

Today we had an amazing four hour conference with Phil from the A21 Campaign and he shared with us in detail what they are doing and my heart broke with the statistics but rejoiced with testimonies he gave of rescues and restoration in the lives of people who have been trafficked.  It’s really hard to get a grasp on the lies and manipulation that the traffickers use to get these people into their slavery.   As I was taking notes on that the Lord said to me…Satan is a trafficker.  He uses lies and manipulation and wounds from the past to rope you in and keep you in bondage.

It has been great to spend the first two days getting a grip on what all is going on with Greece, the church plant and how God is connecting the people to make it happen.   The rest of the trip is packed full and we are going to be super busy….more to come on that.

We love you all and thank you all for your support.
