Back in Zimbabwe Again

The trip was very unexpected with the cancellation of our flight and waiting 10 hrs in the airport till we could get another flight out. We had an amazing opportunity to stay with a family who opened their home to us and gave us a place to sleep and eat. Denise and Wayne Mooi We can never thank you enough for all you have done for us. I feel very blessed to have had those hours with you and the family. Once we finally made it in to Bulawayo and made it through customs it was so nice to see our Church Family there to meet us and give us a warm welcome. We have been busy at work with meetings and planning for the First Ever Shine Women’s Conference. I just stand in Awe of how God is moving in these women and carrying the vision of the Heart of Shine and the Vision Pastor Kerri has for Women. I am so honored and blessed to be able to be a part of this missions trip. Just being able to have the opportunity to speak into these women’s lives by lifting them up and empower them to be all God has called them to be. I am excited to see these women have an experience that is life changing for so many women. Being a part of Shine in Jacksonville has changed my life and to have God call me to be a part of this I can only imagine what he is going to do in and through me. I look forward to seeing women’s lives changed, healed and delivered.

Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Thank you Father for this Amazing opportunity

  1. Kat, I’m so excited about the work y’all are doing! Know that I am praying for each and every one of your team and all the lives you’ll touch for God. Thank you for being open to the Holy Spirit’s leading — you’ll be amazed at the way YOUR life changes because you were willing to allow God to channel His love through you this way.

    (: Dianne 🙂

  2. Friends, I want to share with you today.

I seen this lady today who tells me about her
daughter being expelled from school, running away from
home, disappearing and telling me that there is nothing can be done. I was thinking about her trials, and her storm of life!

Than I remember about what you wrote today. I asked her to read what you wrote and I asked her to read all of Psalm 46 and told her that we have Security. There is a Perfect Security for a man or woman who has GOD with them. God did not say a man or woman would not go through storms, but He says, “You are secure in them. I am going to bring you safely through them to heaven.”

The Bible faces honestly the fact that life has its
storms, life brings troubles and dangers. This old
Book looks life in the face! The worldling wants a
holiday world, a paradise now, free from trouble and
trial. But it isn’t here, and sooner or later we run
up against storms and troubles and dangers. The Bible
    faces this honestly.

  3. Shellie,

We have been praying for the team! I can’t wait to hear the stories when you get home!!!!!!!!! We love you and I am proud to be your friend.

    Love you girl,
