N. Ireland Substance Crew (Sept. 2011)- “Who’s who…”

While it’s only been two days, the only word that comes to mind when describing Ireland is “awesome!” I know that might sound cliché, but it’s the truth!

The first night being here we not only had the opportunity to meet the Northern Ireland team; we were able to experience an encounter night together. After worshiping and receiving a message from one of our very own trip leaders, we had the opportunity to break out into prayer groups. What came out of those prayer groups is what that lead me to see just how much God has been and is currently working in this area, but more importantly who these “members across the pond” truly are.

What I was able to see is victory in God’s name. Strongholds and addictions being broken in spite of continuing struggles. I was able to see a pioneer in their own family. Someone who was the first to take on the faith and to give hope to those they care most about. To be that light in the darkness that God has made us to be. I was able to see transparency within leadership. Someone whose heart was so broken for God that everything was laid out not only for the Father, but for everyone else in their circle of influence. But most importantly I was able to see an overwhelming desire to see change in their homeland. A passion to see the hearts of those who are angry and hurting to be given a chance of freedom. To see the same victories being done in others that they saw in their very own lives. The same kind of zest that screams to your soul “this person is exactly where God has placed them!”

So for those back States side, rest assured because God is doing exactly what needs to be done here. And not only is everything being done in His perfect timing, He’s assembled just the right people for it.

  1. I am so excited to hear of all the wonderful things happening in Ireland. It makes me so happy to hear that the people “across the pond” are experiencing the same powerful, amazing, loving God that we experience in Jacksonville. It is so powerful to think that our God loves each and every one of us, whether we are in Jacksonville, Florida or Northern Ireland. He continues to change lives and restore the broken and heal the pain. Our God is an awesome God! So excited that you all were able to have an Encounter night together, wow! Continue sharing your light in Ireland and know that you have many people here praying for your team and the people of Ireland as well. Wishing you all a Holy Spirit filled, supernaturally amazing, fire filled rest of your week, and can’t wait to follow along with you on the blog.

Lots of Love to the Celebration Ireland Team :),

  4. Yes! Encounter night was beyond amazing! To be there in the presence of the Holy Spirit was truly overwhelming and very powerful. We were able to pray for others and break the strongholds to do the work that GOD has asked us to do 🙂
